holiday shenanigans

Hello! Long time no talk eh? Well, a few updates:

1. I am officially 16 now (whoop whoop) so I'll have to change that little description on the right 

2. O levels are finally Over! (geddit geddit?) and I have received my results which were unbelievably good, thank God.

3. Currently, I am on the last leg of my holidays (boohoo) and will soon be starting Junior College in a brand new school!

Which brings me to the point of this post. Holidays started officially for me after my last paper (26 November 2012) so if you do a quick calculation, i have had roughly about 2 months of vacation. As a teenager, boredom hits me quite often, therefore, in order to combat it i have been trying to do as many fun things as possible!

Gardens by the Bay

There was a teeny weenie break between the papers after the major ones had ended so my dad and i went to visit the recently opened ( i think) Gardens by the Bay. It was such an unexpected and pleasant surprise that i enjoyed myself there, not being a huge fan of bontany and all

Hong Kong 2012

2 days after my last paper, my parents whisked me away to Hong Kong for a one week holiday. To summarise the trip, there was a lot of shopping, a lot of eating and a lot of walking.

for the 3rd time lol

I got a throbbing headache in the middle of the day and could only ride this bad boy 6 times. Nowhere near my previous record of 13 times

I know prom is supposed to be this big occasion and all but i ended up lying/sitting down on the floor half of the night and fighting for food from the buffet tables during the other half (I'm from an all-girls' school so this is okay, see)

 i went ice skating for the second time. the first time being when i was like 10, during which i was on my butt longer than i was standing up. this time i was actually pretty good at it
